Yesterday I had the most inspiring visit with Andre Hermann, a young photographer from San Francisco who is pioneering iPhonography. He gave me a whole new appreciation of what we can do with this medium, as well as how we can do it in our own voice, instead of just using the filters of the various app makers like Hipstamatic and Instagram. The idea is to think of those apps as portals to share your work, but not as the lab to process your imagery or create your look. Check out some of these recent interviews with him and about his work.
