This summer in Monterey, California, Ed Kashi of VII will be teaching at a workshop with the California State University Summer Arts program. The two-week course, Digital Documentary Photography and the Art of Seeing, will take place from July 1 – 14. Participants will learn about visual storytelling and documentary photography while working with renowned professionals in the field of photojournalism, concluding the workshop with a public exhibition of their work.
In addition to giving a lecture, Ed will be teaching in the beginning of the course from July 2-6. Other guest artists at the workshop will include photographers: Ken Light, Darcy Padilla, Jay Dunn, David Royal, and Margot Hartford.
