Join Ed Kashi (VII) in Paris this spring for his Eyes in Progress workshop, “Visual Storytelling in the Digital Age.” Covering the topic of documentary reportage, you will refine your storytelling techniques and improve story composition, by working on an editorial project developed with Ed. Participating in the workshop you will learn to analyze and address real situation problems that occur when documenting a story. As you work closely with Ed, he will work with you to discover your own visual language while developing the necessary skills to successfully create a reportage.
Taking a personal approach to the instruction of each student Ed Kashi tries to get students with professional goals “to express their intentions so they become clearer and stronger about why they want to do this.” Meanwhile, “the amateur who just wants to improve their photography requires a different approach. To me it’s important to help them grow while also preserving their love and joy for the craft.”
The four day workshop will take place from March 26-29, 2014. Space is limited to nine participants per course. The small group size ensures a dedicated personal learning experience for students. Register today to reserve your spot.
