In the Multimedia/Experimental category Ed won the top two awards for his works, “Iraqi Kurdistan” with MediaStorm, and “THREE,” the collaborative effort with Talking Eyes Media.

Then Ed went on to take the top award in the Photojournalism Series category for his work, “Niger Delta Slaughter”.

Ed also received a Honorable Mention in the Multimedia Documentary Storytelling category with, “The Sandwich Generation”, another collaboration with MediaStorm and Talking Eyes Media.

Then Kristin Reimer, our studio manager, took third place for her project “Airsoft.”

Needless to say, the FotoWeek DC Festival was a huge hit for the office.

For the list of all the other winners, and the recognition of their fantastic work, please go to the FotoWeek site. We’d like to thank the judges and congratulate all the other artists involved in the project, especially Rich Reid for his Multimedia work and the Documentary Winners Jonathan TorgovnikCarol Guzy and Danny Wilcox. Finally, congratulations to all of the student winners, who represent the next generation of photographic artists.

All the winners will be shown in a very cool four month long exhibition called the “Crystal City FotoWalk“. This event is an ambitious and inventive project that will have an important impact on DC!
