Ed Kashi/VII and Ashley Gilbertson recently completed a project documenting the Cimarron County, Oklahoma community as they suffer through the worst drought the area has seen in fifty years. This project “It’ll Be Better Next Year” was published yesterday by The New Yorker’s Photo Booth blog. Kashi and Gilbertson’s work culminated in the form of the multimedia piece below, highlighting the struggles and resilience of this Midwestern farming community.
