Dayton, Ohio: More money has been spent on the 2012 election than any presidential race in history, and of that money, a majority has been spent in the fight for Ohio, where the 18 electoral votes are crucial to the elections outcome. Obama and Romney have made more trips to that state than any other. Additionally, every day, campaigners are working telephones, knocking on doors, and waving signs; they’re executing the ground war, and Ohio’s citizens are caught in the middle.
