Award-winning documentary film, Park Avenue: Money, Power and the American Dream, creates a conversation surrounding the inequality of the economic gap between rich and poor, particularly in NYC. Along Park Avenue this disparity is incredibly prominent. One end of Park is home to the highest concentration of billionaires in the country. In the South Bronx, less than 5 miles away, Park Ave also runs through the poorest congressional district in the US. This film explains the growing gap between the top and bottom of the economic food chain, and how this rift is making upward mobility increasingly difficult for the poor.
This Saturday, September 28th, at 7:00pm there will be a screening of the film and panel discussion at Bronx Documentary Center. On the panel will be Adam Bolt, (Editor of Park Avenue), Blair Foster (Producer), and Peter Heltzel (Pastor of Park Avenue Christian Church).
