Julie and I just finished this piece for AARP about how retirees are “re-careering”. Rick Koca, the subject of this piece, is a retired Navy officer who started a nationwide program called Stand Up For Kids, which caters to homeless teens. Please check it out and let us know what you think. He is an inspirational figure, so pass this link along to others so they can get a glimpse into one of the many individuals in America who volunteer and show the creative spirit of the human soul to help us be a better nation, people and ultimately a better world.
