This summer, Ed Kashi (VII) will be teaching a workshop at the AndersonRanch Arts Center in Colorado, called “Visual Storytelling & Documentary Photography Projects.” The workshop will take place from August 11 – 15, 2014 and will involve shooting in amazing Colorado, and critique sessions along with discussions on practical experience in the field.
The class description highlights, “The digital age is giving documentary photographers and photojournalists extraordinary new ways to tell stories with greater authorship and control. This workshop focuses on how to create a personal documentary project and get it seen.”
“The ultimate goal is to learn how to find a subject that speaks to a personal passion, document it in a compelling and unique visual style, and disseminate the work effectively to change people’s minds and help write history.”
Enrollment is limited to 12 students so be sure to register as soon as possible to reserve your place. Learn more about the class on the AndersonRanch course page.
