1 Flesh Eating Parasites.

2 Stoned by Religious Group.

1 Lost at Sea.

1 Penis Fish.

2 Held at Gunpoint.

The list, a chart actually of life threatening and brutal encounters, goes on. These are the kind of facts and tidbits you’ll find at the new The Photo Society (TPS), a site dedicated to the contributing photographers, Ed included, for the National Geographic Magazine. There is even a page containing a letter “How to respond to requests for free photography” for all of us to direct clients to when faced with yet another request to work for no pay. There are success stories in Why We Do It along with event listings and bios.

The gist: this collective site makes for a handy, playful, entertaining and educational resource.
